The practicum is designed for candidates who have completed the Certified Residential qualifying education required by their jurisdiction and need a structured path to qualifying experience.

02How the experience is structured
Candidates progress through 32 assignments over 52 weeks. Live virtual instruction and guided work connect appraisal concepts to increasingly complex residential assignments.

03Two required residencies
The virtual program includes two required in-person residencies in Greenville, South Carolina: a four-day opening residency and a three-day residency during week 33.

04Credentialing responsibility
The practicum is designed to provide the experience component. Candidates remain responsible for examination, application, education, background, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- No partial-experience credit for incomplete participation
- Prior experience does not shorten the program
- Verify home-jurisdiction acceptance and reciprocity
Important: The program is virtual with two required Greenville residencies. Licensing acceptance and reciprocity vary by jurisdiction; candidates should verify requirements with their home regulator before enrolling.
